Ok so I have not added anything in several months...I knew with baseball and softball I would have limited time! Well I just want to update with our trip to Tustin. Since we are no longer able to make the annual Barker trip for TCB (Tustin Chicken BBQ) we have decided to make an annual trip up with a group of friends. This year we picked August to assure some good weather for all the water activities. We were very lucky and had wonderful weather. We spent ALL day out on lake poygan saturday. When I say all day I am not joking... Kevin and I had to pick up the pontoon boat we had rented at 8 a.m.. We drove it down the Wolf River to lake Poygan and met up with the rest of our group. After a full day of tubing, jet skiing and swimming everyone headed back to the compound around 5:30. Kevin and I then coasted back up the river to return the boat. So we were literally on the water from 8:15 a.m until about 7:45 in the evening. We were all exhausted! But needless to say everyone had an incredible
time!

Dinner time with Erin and Matty
Erin truly loves being a big sister! When she enters a room that Matthew is in she immediately runs over to him and kisses him. She also will do anything to make him laugh. She loves the fact that Matty is in a high chair now and is within reach during dinner.

2yr. & 6 month pics
Yesterday I took Erin and Matthew for their pictures. Erin will be 2 on the 13th and Matty was 6 months in March. Easy enough I thaught...that was until we got there and they put a bench up for Erin and Matty to sit on. Erin wanted nothing to do with it! I pulled out all the stops especially bribery. Matty just sat there smilling on command. He is such a happy baby, I wish he could stay this age forever. I seriously forgot how difficult photo shoots are with toddlers. Here are a few of the pics...

Family update!
WOW! I just realized that I have not posted to our blog page since November! I promise to try and catch up! Were to begin...Halee is in at Finley Junior High and has worked extremely hard to get straight A's every quarter. It is very nice b/c the school board has an awards night and honor all of the straight A students. The principal and the school
board pres. give out the certificates. It is especially nice for Halee b/c Aunt Lynn is the school board pres. so she is the only one who get a great big hug when she gets her award. She is also the only one who turns 5 different shades of RED when she gets the hug in front of everyone. I just laugh. She played basketball, volleyball and is now rolling into the softball season.
Tom, is also doing very well in school. He has made the honor roll every quarter and is now working very hard on his science project and his Historical person pr
oject for social studies. In true "Pote" fashion, his historical person is Babe Ruth. Tommy plays many sports but Baseball is by far his favorite. He is also getting ready to start the baseball season. His football season was a good one. He was on the JV a and b team. On the A team he was a running back and outside linebacker. On the B team he was QB so that next year he can take over in that position on the A team. Tom also did very well in Basketball this season. He was the leading scorer on the team after sitting out a good portion of the season with his broken wrist.
Erin is a vibrant 2 yr old. (She will be 2 on the 13th) She does not skip a beat! Her vocabulary grows everyday! As many of you know we took out the half wall that used to separate the kitchen and front room which leaves us with a small island. That is Erin's race track!
I am not exaggerating when I say she does about a thousand laps a day. I need to sit on the couch and rest from watching her. She will be starting school at the park on April 21st. It is a 45 min class 1 day a week. It is to prepare kids for the social interaction of school. Erin also attended her first Daddy Daughter Dance. Halee was so excited to have Erin their with her. Erin was excited to wear a "pitty d
ress" and be able to run around the frontier gym freely.
Matthew is a "BIG BOY". He is now 6 months
old and is 18lbs. and 25 in long. He is probably the happiest baby I know. He is now teething so his sleeping habits have been a struggle these days. Poor guy smiles while he cries, I feel so bad for him.

busy chasing around all of these kids we have! Kevin is working hard at his hotel as they have cut back to 1 man per shift. But hey at least he has a job! Well I hope to be more diligent with updating our page but with softball and baseball season in full swing my computer time is limited.

Christening
Today was Matty's Christening. It was such a beautiful day. November 2nd and it was about 65 and sunny. Matty was such a good baby. He didn't cry at all. In fact he slept the whole ceremony. Matty's godparents are Amy and Dan. (my sister and brother in law)

I love Tommy's face in this one

Waiting to be soaked! I was expecting him to scream like he does when I give him a bath but he didn't

Winter is coming!
Yes it is that time of year to pull out the hats and gloves. At least earlier this week it was. Today and the rest of the weekend is going to be 60. Anyway... I bought Erin and Matt hats and wanted to try them on for size. Erin loves hats so was so thrilled. Can you tell? Matt on the other hand didn't care as long as he doesn't get woken up.
